Chrome for Android now makes it easier to access Web Page Translation – MSPoweruser

As the world gets smaller and smaller we get more of our information and contacts from places which do not speak the same language as ourselves.

Chrome’s automatic web page translation feature has made this an extremely seamless process on most occasions, but sometimes the feature does not kick in automatically, which can leave one stuck, especially on mobile.

Google has just released an update for its Chrome for Android browser, taking it to version 75.0.3370.89.

The changelog notes that it is now possible to activate the web page feature from an option in the menu, meaning you no longer need to rely on Google’s language detector to kick in.

The update also brings the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

The browser can be downloaded from the Store here and may require to be closed and re-opened to present the new option.
