Google Gboard beta for Android lets you combine emojis to create stickers via Emoji Kitchen – re:Jerusalem

Since its conception on the iPhone, Google’s Gboard has conquered its space as one of the best keyboard options for Android and iOS users. Using the features of Artificial Intelligence, the app has robust tools, and it gets better and better, with smart spelling suggestions, visual improvements, new font, automatic dark mode and much more. Now the latest beta update of Gboard brings an interesting feature for emojis and sticker lovers. The keyboard has the so-called Emoji Kitchen, which suggests a sticker to users whenever an emoji is inserted. With the update, the functionality has gotten a bit more interesting, offering the ability to combine two inserted emojis to generate a brand new sticker.

According to the tests carried out by the 9to5Google and Android Police sites, a series of curious results are obtained, while others end up resulting in hilarious stickers. The combinations can also be used to intensify an emotion, which can, for example, result in a finger of silence asking for silence, when combining two emojis of silence. Although not compatible with all emojis, the feature already seems to cover a considerable number of them.

The new emoji combination feature is now available for users registered in the Gboard beta program, in version v9.9.12 of the app. If you want to experiment and are not yet part of the beta, just go to the keyboard page on the Play Store and request access to the trial version.
