Andres “Lacefield” Lacefield of Ghost Gaming was confident in his team’s ability to turn things around after losing the first map of the match.

“We had a large lead and lost it. After the map was over, we talked it over and made sure that we got every single little mistake we had that map out of the way, so that we would know how to play our next Hardpoint. The way that our team can take criticism now is amazing, especially when you have a team that can take criticism like that because there is nothing but up from there.

With the win, Ghost Gaming now joins the likes of Luminosity Gaming (3-0, 9-2 map count), Team Kaliber (2-1, 8-5 map count), Evil Geniuses (1-2, 4-7 map count) and Team Vitality (0-3, 2-9 map count) in Group B to see who will make it into the playoffs and have a chance to collect the Call of Duty World League Atlanta Open Championship and the lion’s share of the $200,000 prize pool.
