The asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight is now available on mobile, allowing you to experience the game away from consoles or PC.
Dead by Daylight Mobile has you take on the role of either a killer or survivor. The killer is tasked with sacrificing all four survivors by placing them on meat hooks to offer them to a dark being known as “The Entity.” Survivors have to repair a series of generators to power up gates which they can then exit through.
There are multiple killers and survivors in the game, each with their own unique abilities, making each match different and preventing the game from becoming stale.
Five Nights At Freddy’s
If you’ve managed to go this long without hearing about the Five Nights At Freddy’s series, then congratulations on living off the grid for so long.
The original Five Nights At Freddy’s has you playing as a security guard working at a pizzeria plagued by murderous animatronics. The game was unique when it came out due to the gameplay that revolves around checking security cameras and managing power consumption carefully so you can close doors to lock animatronics out of your office before they kill you.
Limbo is a 2D side-scrolling horror game that has you play as a defenseless young boy trying to find his sister in a grim world where everything will kill him.
Limbo is a simple game with plenty of trial and error as you watch the poor character die in some of the most horrific and disturbing ways. The game has a gorgeous monochrome art style with an incredible score and is vastly different from most horror games.
Fran Bow is an indie psychological horror game that focuses on a 10-year-old girl named Fran who is admitted to an asylum after witnessing her parents’ brutal murder.
The game is extremely dark and revolves around mental illness, which can be a difficult and sensitive topic, so it may be a game some want to avoid.
Bendy And The Ink Machine
Bendy and The Ink Machine is a first-person horror game that uses an art style reminiscent of old animations, similar to Cuphead.
The game has you going to an abandoned animation studio where you are tormented by demonic manifestations of the studio’s characters whilst you must complete various puzzles and discover exactly what happened at your former workplace. The game’s success led to the creation of other titles within the same universe which expand on the original game.

Dead Effect 2 is an FPS looter-shooter with RPG elements and a plot centred around a failed attempt to create immortality.
The horror FPS has you shooting hordes of zombies as you attempt to destroy all evidence of the failed experiment before it is uncovered. Dead Effect 2 is a simple zombie-killing title with plenty of gameplay to keep you entertained.
Granny is a survival horror game in which you are trapped inside a sinister old woman’s house and have to escape within five in-game days.
The titular Granny will stalk you throughout the house as you try to find items to use for your escape. Granny will also set traps that will hinder your progress or knock you out, causing you to lose a day. If you like the game Hello Neighbor, then you owe it to yourself to try Granny.
Goosebumps Night Of Scares
Goosebumps Night of Scares is a first-person click and point adventure game that has you collecting pages in R.L. Stine’s house whilst avoiding spooky enemies.
The game is divided into chapters and each chapter requires you to obtain a different number of pages whilst avoiding iconic Goosebumps characters like Slappy the dummy. Each chapter is relatively short and it’s a game that’s easy to dip in and out of. The game has a great atmosphere and is also compatible with VR to further heighten the horror experience.
Alien: Blackout is very similar to Five Nights At Freddy’s and has you taking on the role of Amanda Ripley as you try to guide your crew to safety.
In Alien: Blackout, you must use the ship’s power supply tactically to set up distractions for the Xenomorph and prevent it from sneaking up on you whilst keeping crew members alive. The game has impressive graphics for a mobile game and successfully captures the spirit of the Alien franchise.
