Ubisoft Connect: New program offers one save for all platforms – PC, Console, Rewards, Uplay, Club & more – RealSport101

Ubisoft is combining the Ubisoft Club and Uplay programs into Ubisoft Connect!

Let’s go over all the details we know so far.

Ubisoft Connect

Ubisoft Connect will take some of the functionality of the Ubisoft Club as well as Uplay to form a brand new program.

Ubisoft Connect Friends List

The Ubisoft Connect program offers cross-platform support allowing for one save file across all platforms for games.

This means if you’re playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on release on next-gen consoles, you can pop over to your PC with the same save. And if you want to take your gaming on the go, you can pull it up on the Nintendo Switch as well and continue your progress.

This is a hugely innovative program that will shake up the gaming world – so you won’t want to miss signing up for Ubisoft Connect!

But that’s not all that it offers.

Rewards

On top of this massively innovative idea to allow players to take their save data across all available platforms, there are big rewards on Ubisoft Connect.

Ubisoft Connect will kick off with over 1000 free rewards from the Ubisoft Club.

That means plenty of in-game cosmetics and other items for free, right off the bat.

Games

Ubisoft Connect will only offer this cross-platform support for Ubisoft games. This is of course a limitation, but a small one, as there are so many popular titles from the French developer.

For instance, this means Ubisoft Connect will cover the following: The Assassin’s Creed series (including upcoming new title Assassin’s Creed Valhalla), the Watch Dogs series (including upcoming release Watch Dogs: Legion), The Division and The Division 2, For Honor, the Rainbow Six series including Rainbow Six Siege, the Far Cry series, and more.

That’s not a bad catalogue to have behind Ubisoft Connect. And being able to take your save data from each of these games to another platform will be a huge convenience. On top of the convenience, this will allow players to shake things up to keep games engaging.

Release Date

Ubisoft Connect will go live on 29 October!
